San Francisco nightlife is as varied as San Francisco, and each San Francisco neighborhood's bars, clubs and lounges have distinct vibes. So following are four different yet equally great clubs.
Rockit Room.
406 Clement St., San Francisco CA; Tel. 415.387.6343; Web. www.rock-it-room.com.
The Rockit Room was founded by MVT Entertainment in 2005 with a single mission in mind: To help keep live music alive. and this bar and club has certainly succeeded in giving for a very exiting and enjoyable night. With live bands playing every evening and two floors including a quite seating area downstairs, the Rockit Room is one of the best small music venues in San Francisco.
Ruby Skye
420 Mason St., San Francisco CA; Tel. 415.693.0777; Web. www.rubyskye.com.
The place to be when the party starts, this club/bar is located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, and is a decidedly high style lounge that can host bands, fashion shows, dance nights, private events and more. State of the art lighting and DJs from around the world work to make this an evening to remember.
111 Minna Street Gallery
111 Minna (at Second Street), San Francisco CA; Tel. 415.974.1719; Web. www.111minnagallery.com
Nightclubbing is about a lot of things, but mostly its about energy, and 111 Minna serves it by the bucket full. Upon entering you’ll find a decidedly non-bridge, peaceful, hip crowd. Whenever I want to go burn up the dance floor 111 Minna is my first choice, so with some the best electronic music in the city, and stylish art to boot, its hard to go wrong with this nightclub.
Red Devil Lounge
1695 Polk (at Clay), San Francisco CA; Tel. 415.921.1695; Web. www.reddevillounge.com.
This Theater turned hot music club takes performances and patrons to another world with elegant red lanterns, gold patterns throughout and comfortable seating. One night they can put on a spectacular show, and the next it can be the ultimate party. With their strong drinks and friendly environment the Red Devil Lounge is a club to be reckoned with.
